Our room had a roomy feel and was clean, and the small balcony gave us a lovely Queenstown view with a glimpse of the lake. We were in room 4. Breakfast was good, though the choices were limited; there was still plenty for a filling vegetarian meal. The location was the real highlight, just two minutes from the main town area and wharf, and another two to the gondola. We left at 8:50 for a 9am TSS Earnslaw sailing and were aboard by 8:53. Kenza helped us with self check-in and was always helpful.

We left the car parked for our two-night stay, thanks to the parking and the central Queenstown location. Our first-floor balcony looked out over the harbour. The hotel was immaculate, with tasteful touches and friendly staff. A great find, and I'd recommend it.

We stayed here both before and after the Milford track. The staff were really kind, and when our room got mixed up, they handled it very fairly. The location was great. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was comfortable and spacious, with two handy street entrances and a lovely outlook over the surroundings and Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown. The manager in particular provided excellent hospitality. Since it's a boutique hotel, having guest services available after 6 PM would be a nice improvement.

We felt the Kiwi hospitality throughout our magnificent stay at Browns Boutique Hotel. Peter-Ray, the owner, went above and beyond, including suggesting some clearly five-star places for local food. Our room was warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helped with everything we needed, and breakfast each morning was made with care. My son and I look forward to staying with our Kiwi family again.
