There were some black clumps of hair that got caught between my toes, and the bathroom smelled so bad that we had to keep its door shut. Apart from that, it was a lovely, well-maintained unit, and I'd definitely recommend it. The place was welcoming and clean, with nice views and enough room for six adults to sleep. The bedding and supplies were comfortable. The kitchen had the essential appliances, and there were washing facilities and heating in every room and living area. Soap and shampoo were a bonus, as were the toilet paper, laundry powder, body washers, dishwasher powder, and dish liquid.

This was our second stay, and we got the same room as last time. It's modern, quiet, very clean, and comfortable. Queenstown centre is a lovely five-minute stroll away for dinner or a look around.

Management were quite brash, which made for a slightly awkward and uncomfortable start. Supplies were limited too: no hair conditioner, no milk for tea or coffee, and just one washing powder sachet. The road outside can get quite loud, mainly in the morning, though it wasn't too bad at night. On the plus side, it's a short, easy walk into town, and the accommodation is roomy, clean, and comfortable. Having a designated parking spot right outside was great.

My friend booked this apartment for our group. It's clean, has a designated parking space for each unit, and is about 700m or a 15-minute walk from the centre, so getting into town on foot is convenient. In our apartment, though, you had to go upstairs every time you wanted to use the toilet. Be aware that they take a deposit and have very strict rules and signs. If you miss one, you may be charged. We followed the instructions, including taking out the rubbish before leaving. It wasn't clear whether that meant all the rubbish or just what wasn't in the bin, but we took everything out. I've never had to do that at anywhere we've stayed in New Zealand or another country. I think it should be covered by the cleaning service included in the room price, though we didn't mind doing it since the instruction was clear. We didn't see a sign saying not to move furniture, so we pushed the beds together to stop my 4-year-old daughter falling out. We didn't take anything out of the room or move something like the refrigerator that could be seriously damaged. They told us we hadn't made an attempt to put it back. If we'd seen the sign, we would have put it back, let alone making an attempt. I think our efforts to follow the other rules made that clear, so it was very disappointing that they still insisted on charging $35 to move it back. It's a good option if you're sure you won't miss any rules, or don't mind not getting your full deposit back.
