We were part of a group tour, and the hotel was ready for us. Our room had a minor issue, but when we asked, the response was phenomenal. It felt like the whole staff worked together to help us. Breakfast at the Observatory each morning was great. The food was tasty and well prepared, and the buffet was laid out so you could get around without crowding. The amenities were clean and solid, and we had a beautiful room. The hotel layout has a cozy courtyard where we enjoyed a lunch we'd brought one day. It's an easy walk to most things and was a great starting point for our activities. Just expect an uphill walk back, since the hotel is in a higher part of town.

The gym is available, though it's a bit small and some equipment could be better maintained. It would be handy if it were open 24 hours. The hotel is within walking distance of town centre shops and restaurants, and Lake Wakatipu is a short walk away for a stroll and scenery. Our stay at Millennium Hotel Queenstown was pleasant. The room was a decent size and comfortable, with a nice bed and supportive pillows that helped us sleep well. The toilet was clean and well maintained.

We liked the comfortable beds, nice decor, and all the storage for suitcases and bags, including a giant wardrobe for clothes. The front desk staff and managers were efficient and helpful. Housekeeping, though, was inconsistent: sometimes dirty towels were taken without replacements, and sometimes the bed was made, other times it wasn't. It was good to have guest laundry in an outdoor activity town like Queenstown, but just two washers and two dryers for the whole hotel meant a long wait. For a high-end hotel, we also missed conditioner in the shower, robes, and a coffee or espresso maker. The bar's closing times were unusual too, especially with so much going on during a busy Queenstown weekend. Nice stay, but those are a few reasons it's 4/5 for us.

One of the best things was how quiet the Millennium Hotel Queenstown was, so we had really restful nights. We also loved being so close to downtown Queenstown and able to walk everywhere. The hotel was comfortable and convenient for our time there. Some parts seemed more updated than others, though everything was well maintained and our room had what we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

That hill from the centre to the hotel is a good leg workout. I had no problem with the room, and the superior king bed was so comfortable. The butter chicken from room service is to die for. On the second night the chef had called in, so I couldn't order again and Uber Eats came to the rescue, lol. That's the only reason for my four stars. Thanks for having me.
