Platinum Queenstown Villas

The balcony views are gorgeous, and the beds are super comfortable. These apartments are in a peaceful corner of busy Queenstown, and they’re furnished with high-quality fittings and furniture. There’s a large smart TV in the living room, plus a good-sized one in the main bedroom.

We loved how peaceful this luxurious townhouse was, even though town was easy to reach on foot. The walk along the lake is mostly flat and takes around 15-20 minutes. The view has to be the best in Queenstown. Inside, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are warm and comfortable, and the fireplace makes the place cozy. Highly recommend, and we’d stay again.

We’ve spent two years in a row at Platinum Queenstown Villa Apartments with our family of four, and would gladly return. The villas are spacious, clean and comfortable, right down to the bedding and mattresses. The views are beautiful, and a path from the property leads into town, about a 20-minute walk to downtown Queenstown. Their service was especially thoughtful. We left some belongings behind during a multi-stop trip and hadn’t even noticed, but the team contacted us and mailed them to the States.

The rooms are spacious and lovely, and the staff were wonderful. It’s up the hill, away from traffic noise, but the slope is too steep to walk. There’s a bus stop right outside, and the ride into town takes about 10 minutes. You can buy a $5 NZD bus pass from the driver and load as much as you need, then it’s $2.50 per person to town. The lake-view rooms looked amazing, so I wish I’d spent the extra money on one. That’s the one thing I’d change about the holiday. See the last photos.
