The location was great, right in the centre of town, and the apartment was lovely, with a nice lounge and parking on site. We weren’t disturbed by noise during our stay. A month after we got home, NZ$4000 was taken from my credit card without notice or warning. I had to make several calls from the UK to find out what had happened. Our agents had booked the property as part of a big tour of the islands, and apparently it had already been paid for, as we’d paid for the tour months earlier. The hotel was very apologetic once I raised it, but it took two weeks to get the money back. I never got a clear explanation or any compensation for the trouble. I don’t know if this was a one-off, but I’m seriously concerned that such a large amount was taken when I’d only provided my card for ID after our agents made the booking.

Everything we needed was in the rooms, including good towels and soaps, plus more. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful with our requests. The location and setup are the best in Queenstown for us. We love staying here and are already looking to book again next year.

There’s plenty of room for four or five couples, and the deck has a great view. The apartment is set up with everything you could need, right down to shampoo, conditioner, and a selection of lovely herbal teas.

Watching the New Year fireworks from the rooftop spa was a unique experience. We spent a week in the spa penthouse, and the views were breathtaking. The apartment had everything we needed, and the one maintenance problem was sorted quickly. The thorough midweek cleaning was appreciated, too. I couldn’t recommend it more.
