Wakatipu View Apartments

We had a ground-floor apartment that was clean, comfortable and spacious, with the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and free wifi. The host was friendly and informative. The location was great, about 5-10 minutes from the lake and town centre, making it easy to explore Queenstown on foot. Parking is very tight, so drive carefully. We didn't see much free street parking during our Summer stay. I'd recommend it to couples and families.

We stayed in apartment 2, which was very clean, with a great living area and an amazing view from the upstairs lounge. They had provided everything we could need, from salt and pepper to soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. When my partner's mum lost her phone, the lady who owned it was extremely accommodating.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the toilet was really nice, with a washing machine. It's very convenient for town, within a 5-minute walk. Parking is the only downside. Otherwise, 100% recommend!

The place was very clean, close to the city centre and 4 square, and had lovely deck views. It had everything I needed, including a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and the information sent by email was very good. There's also a useful information folder inside, though a list of nearby places to eat or get takeaway would have helped. The sloping ceilings, while fitting the look of the building, made the interior uncomfortable. I kept hitting my head at the kitchen bench and toilet, had to hold my head at a 45-degree angle in the bathroom, and couldn't sit up straight in bed. At night, light from next door came through the uncovered top six foot of the apexed window and kept me awake. I came away with a sore neck and kept banging my head, so my score would have been higher without that.
