Rangiora Eco Holiday Park

The calm setting and reasonable prices worked really well for us. My partner and I brought our caravan here for a week in 2024, then came back for two weeks in 2026. We hope to return whenever we're passing through Christchurch. Until next time, we wish everyone working at the holiday park safety and happiness, and look forward to seeing you again.

We'd been there for no more than five minutes when the owner accused us of breaking the lock. The door wouldn't lock, so we politely asked for a refund to find somewhere we could safely leave our belongings. He insisted we stay and said he wouldn't return our money. We will never stay here, and wouldn't recommend this park to anyone.

We'd made a mistake with our booking, and the owner kindly gave us a double room to sort it out. They also welcomed us and helped rearrange our reservation at short notice.

We came back because we wanted our daughter to have happy memories here too, after she broke her arm on our first, very memorable visit. The owners gave us a free night's accommodation and checked on our little one after the accident. It meant a lot to feel valued and to see how much they care about their customers. The kids loved the new playground, and there's plenty of safety padding underneath. Our cabins have always been clean and warm, and we've had a pleasant greeting every time we've arrived. We first chose the park because it's away from Christchurch's hustle and bustle, with little traffic and a quiet feel, while still close enough to drive wherever you want to go. Thank you for being so friendly, warm, approachable and welcoming, and for helping my daughter make good memories here. It makes a difference to feel valued as a customer. My boys absolutely loved it and are already asking when we can come back.
