The shower was excellent, and although the rooms are a little dated, ours was very clean. We were concerned about traffic and train noise, but had a very good night's sleep. It gets quiet at night, and Taihape is a good place to stop for a night. We'll stay again.

I slept well both nights, thanks to a comfortable bed and a quiet room despite being near State Highway 1. The manager was welcoming and friendly. It's an older motel, but the room was clean and well kept, and the wireless internet was excellent. I'd certainly stay again.

Even on the main road, it felt cosy and was nice and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, and the instructions for collecting the keys were great. Spacious, too.
