Ramada Resort Reia Taipa Beach

The pool and spa were a nice place to unwind in the afternoon, and the rooms were comfortable with everything we needed. We’ve stayed at Taipa Beach Resort several times, and the friendly, welcoming staff keep making us feel like coming back. It’s easy to enjoy a relaxed meal here without driving anywhere, and the food has been lovely every visit. You’re only steps from the sand, with beautiful Doubtless Bay in every season. It’s a great base for exploring the Far North, or for simply settling in by the beach for a few days.

We stayed two nights and had a large, comfortable room facing the ocean. It was a handy place to explore Cape Reina and Ninety Mile Beach. On the way to or from the hotel, the climb up to the Rainbow Warrior Memorial, overlooking Matauri Bay, makes a great destination.

A very short hop across the road gets you to the beach and boat ramp, and the rooms are well appointed with everything we needed. This was another perfect three night stay. The management and staff took care of everything for our group of 70+. Kamal deserves a special mention for proactively finding me to sort out gluten free meals. Much appreciated, and we’ll absolutely be back.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with stunning views, and the staff were friendly and professional. We stayed at the beginning of October, and dinner was a highlight: I loved their amazing Savour Northland Challenge dish with its matching wine. Outstanding experience, can’t wait to stay again!
