There’s a little outdoor spot with a table, chairs, and a sun lounger, and parking right beside each unit. I stayed for three nights while exploring the Coromandel coast, and the motel worked really well as a base. The nearby shops and places to eat are an easy walk, though you’ll need to drive to Whangamata or Thames for more options. The room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom, a comfortable double bed, two armchairs, a table with two chairs, and a clothes rack with shelves. The kitchen had a fridge with a small ice box, microwave, toaster, two-plate electric hob, electric casserole, and coffee percolator. The aircon cooled the room well, just took a while to get there.

You can walk to the marina and shops from here, and there are shovels and body boards guests can borrow. The room was a comfortable size, with a private patio and parking right outside. Self check-in and check-out were easy. The washer is free, though the dryer costs extra, and the kitchen has all the cooking basics. Really nice for the price.

Tairua Wharf is just behind the motel, which makes it handy for exploring the area. The garden is lovely for unwinding in summer, and the beds were so comfortable that the whole stay felt really cozy. The place itself is modern, too. Steve deserves a mention for being friendly and supportive during our visit. Such a gentleman. And his beautiful Toyota GR is hard to miss when you come in 🥰😍. We had an ideal stay, highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed having a view of the beach from our unit. It was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Such a gem.

The room was a little overdue, but that didn’t bother me since it was spotless and had everything we needed for a family stay. There was a BBQ in the backyard, air conditioning, a big toilet, and plenty of necessities. The guy at reception was nice and knew the place well. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
