Maggie at reception made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, welcoming us with so much kindness. Our family, my wife, daughter, and I, was visiting New Zealand's North Island over Christmas and New Year and stayed two nights at Ashbrook Motel. The place was clean, comfortable, and lovely. We appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily return or recommend it to others.

The staff were so friendly, polite, and helpful that they made us feel at home. After a full day out, the spa in the bathroom was a lovely bonus. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was great, just a few minutes' walk from Taupo lake. I'd stay again on my next holiday, and highly recommend it. Thank you all. Manal

The one-bedroom unit was small, but it had what we needed: two single beds in the bedroom, plus a queen bed, sofa, and table with chairs in the kitchen-lounge area. It was clean, quiet, and well equipped. The shower over the bath had good pressure, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They were also happy to hold our bags after checkout until we were ready for the airport.

The people working there were incredibly happy and friendly, every staff member was lovely and made our stay better. Our room was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect. I'd definitely return.

We had a really nice, clean room, and the motel was well placed with good restaurants nearby. Joe was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We loved staying at Ashbrook Motel and would absolutely come back.
