Nina was such a warm and welcoming host, and we felt very comfortable there. The chalet, garden and room were beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. We'd love to return.

Nina made our first long weekend in the Taupō region a wonderful one. She had great suggestions for activities and meals, and we had a cosy place to stay, hearty breakfasts and everything else we needed. Bella, Rufus and Floyd the cat kept us company by the fireplace, too.

Nina and Peter were lovely hosts, and we had a fantastic stay. The room was spacious, with an AC unit, a big shower and doors that opened out to the garden. The shared space was great. Breakfast was brilliant every day, with cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, milk, fruit juice and a cooked option. Highly recommend booking at Chalet Eiger. We'll be back.

A lovely secluded place, with amazing views from the room. Nina and Pete were friendly and welcoming, and the room had all the comforts we needed. We were greeted with complimentary wine and nibbles, and breakfast was lovely. If it's a gorgeous day, ask to have breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the views. Highly recommend staying here!

Nina's a wonderful host, full of helpful suggestions. Her home feels open, airy and inviting, the rooms are large, and breakfast is delicious. Definitely a place to keep in mind.
