Do not recommend. We paid good money for a family weekend away and had terrible service. We also witnessed violent abuse from other people staying there for emergency housing, which felt unfair to people paying to stay. The hotel looked nothing like the photos. It was old, run down and badly maintained. The lawns needed mowing, rusty outdoor furniture was piled up and covered in webs, and there was nowhere set up to sit by the pool. The owners, a husband and wife who aren't from this country, could barely speak English, and the husband tried to intimidate us. We were a group of women with young children. Horrendous experience, and we won't return.

The studio was spacious, with a king-size double bed, a single bed, and a large TV with lots of channels. It also had air conditioning and a kitchen area with a microwave, two hobs, a fridge and freezer, plus basic cooking, eating and cleaning utensils. The shower had good pressure, and the bathroom came with shower gel, soap and shampoo, which was a nice touch. The rooms are a bit dated.

We got a good deal for four people in unit 14, with the car park and water pool just in front. The unit was a little dated but clean and well equipped, including pots and pans, a toaster, glassware, cutlery and a fridge. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was really good. The location worked well for us, near takeaway shops, Pak n Save, Woolsworth and fast food places. Cable TV was a nice extra. We’d stay again.

The price was great, and the rooms were better than I expected. You can bring a dog or cat for just $20 a night. It’s not the best spot for sightseeing, but having a BP shop just down the road was really handy.

The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, and the service was great. It’s an older place, so there’s some wear, and the cutlery was lacking. Still, it was clean and quiet, the rate was decent, and there was free Wi-Fi and Sky.
