Getting to Milford Sound was easy, we just pulled into the parking lot on the way. The hosts were relaxed and welcoming, and the room was fresh and very clean. Breakfast was much better than I expected for the price, which was a lovely extra.

Even with the rain, we had a great stay and really enjoyed Te Anau. The rooms were pretty average, but the hosts and their hearty breakfast made up for it. Cosy Kiwi was a good place to stay, and I’d recommend it if you’re heading to the Fjordlands.

Breakfast was ready to go, which was handy when we wanted to get outdoors in a hurry. There was a great choice, especially for the price, and the host was caring and enthusiastic. The service was top notch and everything was super clean.

The owners were excellent, both for their service and their knowledge. The room was lovely, and the bathroom was good too. Breakfast was okay, nowhere near the worst, though not the best either.

It’s a change from the bigger places, and they keep it really clean and tidy. There are seven rooms and seven parking spots, with breakfast ready at seven.
