The welcoming people here are happy to go the extra mile. I only visited, I didn't stay, but the old villa made quite an impression. It has high ceilings and a long entrance hall decorated with Linda's artwork up on the walls. The lounge sits in the middle of the house, with a fireplace, comfortable chairs and sofa, colorful rich decor, and doors opening onto a veranda. The dining room faces the main road. Rooms look like they belong in a fairy tale, with pretty colors, luxurious touches, sumptuous-looking beds, and amazing bathrooms. Rex is a fantastic cook. It's clearly popular with regular visitors, and even people working nearby stay for a while. If you want somewhere different from a modern place, give it a try.

Breakfast was a treat, especially the damson jam. I was travelling alone and felt comfortable and safe in this lovely home. Linda and Rex were so hospitable, and I'd definitely stay again.

The busy road made the house noisy, and the place felt cold and sad, with lots of old, useless items around. The bathroom had good modern equipment, though, and the living room fireplace was cozy. That was the warmest spot in the house.

Breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were lovely. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'd gladly come back.

It was an easy, pleasant walk into town through the rose garden. The rooms were lovely, and the hospitality was warm. Everything was well catered for.
