I only had one night here and already wished it were a week. There's loads of space in this beautiful, quiet rural spot, and the characterful accommodation had everything I could want. The washing machine was handy too. I was genuinely blown away.

A lovely place to unwind, with a peaceful setting and really nice hosts. It's close to both Kihikihi and Te Awamutu, and I couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend.

We made it to Mt Kakepuku and also visited Cambridge and Raglan, so the cottage was a handy base for exploring nearby. The hosts were great, the bed and facilities were nice, and we slept really well. We loved the free range eggs. The cottage is large, and we enjoyed our four nights so much we could easily have stayed longer.

A lovely freshly baked loaf was waiting to greet us. The old school house is so cute, decorated just right for its era, and it was clean, tidy and warm. We loved staying here.

The views were spectacular, and the bed was comfortable. Everything felt special, from the homemade cookies and fresh bread to the little house's vintage style. It was elegant and cosy, as well as super clean. We had a great time and would love to come back. 10/10.
