We didn't stay at the hotel, just had dinner at the restaurant. The setting was peaceful and had a nice view. The seafood chowder was delicious, packed with chunks of fresh seafood, and the chicken penne alla wodka was to die for. The beef steak and braised beef cheek were fine too. The food was excellent and good value. Some of the best we had on our North Island trip, and definitely the most reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you're in the Waitomo area.

There were about 18 of us for a family dinner on Tuesday 25th November. Vicky and Sinead were absolutely wonderful, and both the service and food were delicious. There was plenty to eat, and we'd definitely return. 10/10, highly recommend to others. Well done and thank you!

Never come here. This shop is simply terrible. The middle-aged female manager was extremely arrogant and disrespectful to customers. She even flipped off a customer. Such uncivilized behavior was shocking.

We were moved into a different room from the one we booked, which gave us better kitchen facilities and an extra room. The staff were very helpful about the change. There's a good range of rooms for different needs, and ours was clean and nicely presented. The kitchen had a good selection of equipment, and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend!

The bed was firm and comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. The price felt fair for the location, 5/5. The office and reception were a little hard to find, and it's easy to park in the 'wrong' or right spot up a very steep slope.
