Our rooms were charming and clean, and the property has gorgeous gardens. Mary and Tim made us feel so cared for, from greeting us warmly and helping arrange hikes in advance to preparing lovely meals that suited our dietary needs. They were also such a pleasure to chat with. We highly recommend this for a true bed and breakfast experience and hope to return.

The rooms were lovely, and having outdoor porches was a nice way to enjoy the beautiful NZ weather. Mary and Tim were so welcoming and hospitable, and breakfast was a real highlight. Before our Tongariro Alpine crossing, we had a hearty breakfast that the other hikers envied. The oats and sandwich were memorable even on a hazy, windy and rainy hike. We’ll stay again when we take another chance at better Tongariro weather.

Mary and Tim are fantastic hosts, and Mary is an amazing chef. After our hike, the B&B’s hot tub was wonderful. They also went above and beyond to look after us during our activities. So glad we got to stay with them.
