From the front it doesn’t look like much, but inside it’s something special. The backyard entertainment area is the best part, though May was too cold for us to enjoy it. I’ll probably stay here again on my way back.

I’m really disappointed. I booked on December 15 last year, then got a cancellation notice just one month before the trip. By then, every other place to stay in Twizel was already fully booked. This is my first trip to New Zealand, and I’ve never had a host cancel on me because of overbooking before. I’d already planned the whole itinerary.

The apartment was modern, clean, quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having a washing machine so we could do our laundry while travelling from Queenstown to Christchurch. It was a great base for our Mount Cook trip. Thanks, Leanne and Rickie, for a wonderful overnight stay in Twizel. I’d recommend it and would definitely return.

As soon as we walked in, we were impressed by how spacious and clean it was, and by the amenities nearby. A beautiful place.

This purpose-built apartment/home is lovely, with shops reasonably close and all the amenities you could ask for apart from a bath. It would suit a family or a small group well.
