It felt like a little home from home when we arrived in the cold. I don’t often post on Google, but this place made me want to. It’s small but well equipped and very cosy, just like the photos. The bathroom is compact, though the homely feel more than makes up for that. A lovely stop on the way to Aoraki Mt Cook.

After hiking at Mount Cook, this was one of the best places to come back to. The owner was extremely friendly, and everything was so clean. The place was perfect for an outdoor barbecue, with everything you need and mountains all around as the backdrop. AMAZING PLACE!!!

We got here on a cold, wet summer’s day, and it immediately felt like home. The two-bedroom cottage is bright and spacious, with a good-sized sofa that made it easy to relax. The kitchen is fully fitted, with everything you might need, and there’s a nice dining area. When the weather’s good, there’s outdoor seating with a barbecue and picnic table. A washing machine is in the cottage, and the dryer is in a separate utility room across the drive.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place was so lovely I had to write something. It was private, very clean, and comfortable. A cute, cosy place to stay while visiting Mount Cook National Park and the surrounding areas.

A real gem. It’s spacious, with great decor, linen, and amenities. It’s a bit far from the township if you have luggage and no car, though we managed okay. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.
