For $180 a night, the place felt pretty rough and poorly maintained. It had also been advertised at $150 a night, and after we left I saw it was still listed for $150. We weren’t happy about the extra guests we had throughout our stay: cockroaches in the sleeping area and bathroom. The cooking hobs were disgusting, and the torn nets looked bad. We booked in as elderly, weary travellers, but we definitely won’t stay again.

We asked to have the room serviced, but the rubbish was left and the bed wasn't made. The unit also wasn't very clean, especially around the bathroom and toilet.

It was clean and the location was great, though everything felt very old. Fine if you just need somewhere cheap to stay.

The bed was the one good part for me. There were ants all over the kitchen bench and near the fridge, and the stove needs replacing. The bathroom in room one was tiny and dirty when we arrived, and the toilet was really noisy when flushed. The full soap and shampoo dispensers didn't work either. I booked mainly so my daughter could use the pool, but we never got the chance. It closes early on colder days, and even in the morning it didn't open until 10am, when we were checking out. The spa was booked out too. We only stayed one night.

At least the sheets and pillowcases were clean and fresh. The motel itself needs maintenance: broken kitchen door handles, old grey net curtains with holes, and holes in the blinds. We found food from the previous guests in the fridge and an unwashed microwave. There was no sound insulation between units, and we had to ask for towels and teatowels when we arrived.
