Tuki Tuki Motel

The staff were friendly, and the place was very clean, but there was a strong chemical smell when I arrived that I could still notice whenever I came in. It may be getting a bit tired and could use an update. The toilet pan was cracked, and although there was an oven, there was no extractor, so cooking smells lingered. The pillows were a bit too big and hard for me, though that's personal preference. No complaints beyond those things.

The neighbourhood was quiet and conveniently close to a big supermarket, with great parking right in front of my room. The owners at the front desk and the housekeeping staff were very helpful and hospitable. Big windows made it easy to ventilate while cooking. A few things could work better: the power sockets were either too high or too low to use conveniently with my devices on the tabletops. The bathroom could use more hooks and bars for clothes and wet towels, plus more vanity space for toiletries. More laundry units or longer hours, even 24 hours if needed, and a good automatic alert for the queue would be very helpful.

A little dated, but the cleanliness more than makes up for that. Everything was sparkling clean, with great beds, lovely linen, and plenty of towels and accessories. The staff were very welcoming. I'd happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The supermarket and cafes are close by, and the hotel itself was clean and spacious. Olivia and Chris were such friendly, helpful hosts. Pretty good place to stay, and definitely great value for money.
