It was peaceful and felt like a home away from home during our three-night stay. The rooms were clean, the facilities were good, and the location was great. Mahinarangi deserves a big thank you for helping with the booking and finding a room that suited our needs. The customer service was excellent. We’d definitely come back, and highly recommend Wairoa Motel.

Mahi was incredibly kind and friendly, and really went out of her way to help us. She suggested places to eat locally and even drove us to dinner, which was above and beyond. The motel is conveniently located, and our room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. Check-in was easy too. We had a fantastic stay at the Wairoa Motel, and would happily return and recommend it.

Definitely recommend. The hostess was awesome and kept us informed about the roads and possible closures, which mattered because our whanau were travelling to Wairoa from the South Island. The room was great, parking was easy, and late arrivals were no problem. She checked that we were all okay. The service was beautiful, and you get more than you pay for. Five stars all the way.

The cottage was fantastic, clean, and well equipped, and we loved staying there. The manager went above and beyond when our other accommodation fell through. At 9:30 at night she came to find us, led us back to her motel, and got us settled in. We’ll stay again and recommend it to everyone.

My whānau and I are so grateful to Mahinarangi for her top notch service. We arrived in Wairoa late after a number of things had gone wrong, tired and stressed from trying to find somewhere else for the weekend. Luckily, she had a room available. She was understanding and caring, with a calm, patient nature that made us feel welcome rather than like a burden. The room was warm, clean, and homely when we arrived, and communication was 10/10. We appreciate you and will definitely be back because of your kindness and hospitality. Thank you so much 😊
