Lansdown Peaks Apartments

The bed was comfortable, and the apartment itself was lovely, quiet and fairly well equipped. The kitchenette and living area were handy, and there was a washing machine, though we didn’t use it. Getting to town was convenient with a car or bike. The lock box worked okay, though I’m not keen on that kind of setup. At the patio table we found a dirty bucket of water with flies in it, and there was just one roll of toilet paper. I’ve never stayed somewhere that didn’t provide bulk shampoo and conditioner, a second roll or milk on arrival. We’d paid over $800 for three nights, so I thought they could have been a bit more generous. There were no luggage stands, which was difficult for us. I used the ironing board, but there was room to provide two stands, which everyone needs. The pool was quite far away, reached by walking through several neighbouring properties and across a driveway. It’s shared with a huge complex of other villas, so calling it a pool for this place felt like a bit of false advertising. It wouldn’t be ideal with children. It wasn’t warm enough for us to swim anyway, so that part wasn’t a big deal.
