The construction felt cheap, the amenities were cheap, and the furnishings were cheap too. We had a very unpleasant stay.

The house was large and clean. All good.

Wanaka is worth visiting, and the holiday home itself is spacious, set on a large plot in a residential area. The grounds looked somewhat neglected, and cleanliness, particularly in the kitchen, could have been better. The hostess seemed rushed, and it was rather unfortunate to be criticized as soon as we met her.

The owner was very kind and gave us detailed tips on restaurants and supermarkets, plus a place to leave our luggage until the bus. The cottage itself is beautiful and close to the city centre.
