I was in Wanaka for work, and staying @theloft felt like being at home. Pieta and Iain were among the kindest people I’ve met, and I’d really recommend staying with them if you get the chance. The room was separate from the main house, modern and nicely furnished. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. Pieta made generous, delicious breakfasts inspired by local food, and was always there to help when I needed something. It was a real treat to stay there.

The hosts had lots of thoughtful little extras. It’s an easy five-minute drive to central Wanaka, and the place itself has a lovely garden and beautiful views. The self-contained apartment includes a large living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. A lovely spot to stay.

The apartment was bright, warm and cozy, just right for relaxing, and the breakfast was superb. Pieta and Ian have created a lovely place to unwind while seeing Wanaka. They made us feel welcome from arrival right through to leaving. Thank you both.

Pieta and Ian are great hosts. They take good care of you while still giving you all the space and privacy you might want. The Loft is lovely, with private accommodation in a great spot just outside Wanaka.
