We had a concert in matakana, and this motel was a convenient 20-minute drive away. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and the lock code was handy. Colleens service really made the stay, though. She was incredibly helpful and let us check in early so we could settle in before the concert. We had a great time.

I’ll definitely stay here again on trips further north. It’s conveniently close enough to walk into town, but set far enough back from the main road to keep noise down. The new self check-in and check-out system worked well, and more motels should use it. WiFi was good and the shower pressure was great. My only real gripe was the lack of power points near the bed or couch, and no lights above or right beside the bed.

I slept well in this well-equipped room, tucked a little way off the main highway. The Yale electronic lock worked without any glitches. The bathroom and shower were spacious, though the floor gets slippery unless you use the plastic mat they provide. WiFi was excellent. I noticed what looked like a secluded garden with a picnic table beyond the car park, but didn’t have time to check it out. It could be a nice sunny-day spot.

We had half the family stay here for an occasion and were really happy with the great location. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the manager was very accommodating after I messed up the booking. We’ll definitely stay again.

Clean and tidy, with off-street parking. A fabulous place to stay, and I have no trouble recommending it. Thank you.
