The welcome was lovely, and the owner had everything ready when we arrived. We only had one night, but it was so peaceful that we’d happily come back. The lodge was beautiful, spacious, and clean inside and out, with thoughtful touches like warm blankets and coffee with fresh milk already in the fridge. We also had towels and complimentary products for the shower, bath, and spa. A detailed lodge book covered places to eat and items for hire.

Set among the trees, the accommodation is gorgeous, and the hosts were fantastic. The estuary and a lovely beach are just a short walk away. Such a beautiful spot to stay. We’ll definitely be back.

There were snacks on the bench, and the fridge had beer and wine stocked too. The place was spotless, and it even had a spa. The people were friendly, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. 100% recommend.

We came back for a second stay because we loved it so much. The apartments are private and have everything you need, plus a bit more. The setting is wonderful, and the hosts are great people. We’ll be back! Love Whangamata.

So peaceful, with only birdsong around. The bed was lovely and comfy, and the decor was awesome. The hosts were excellent, and the location is close to everything. I’ll be back.
