We stayed three nights after coming from Australia, and the owner was very helpful and kept in touch. The apartment had wonderful views, a comfortable bed, and everything needed for a short stay. There are steep steps up the side, though. If you’re not fit or can’t carry a suitcase, getting up could be difficult, especially in the dark. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

What a special place to stay! It was a huge surprise to find somewhere so beautiful. Definitely the best accommodation in whangamata, with a great couple owning it.
