For our anniversary getaway, Steve and Vicki made sure my partner and I had the comfort and relaxation we needed. They were welcoming and accommodating, and suggested places to eat, drink, relax and have fun. They also lent us beach towels and shovels for Hot Water Beach. The room was lovely, with an ensuite shower and restroom and a pretty view of the beach over a small hill. Although it was downstairs, we could use the balcony overlooking the beach. We had no problems during our stay, and made a new friend in Honey 🥰 the dog. We were on a mission and didn't pay for breakfast, but I wish we'd asked what it was because it smelled good. I'd definitely try it next time!

We had breakfast of cereal, yogurt, fruit and freshly baked croissant, and there's a shared kitchenette for guests. The B&B is across the road from Whitianga beachfront, with outdoor seating upstairs on an open deck and downstairs in the garden. Vicky gave us a warm welcome. Our room was small but clean and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. There is no air conditioning. It's about a 20-minute walk along the waterfront into town, and we'd stay again.

The place was gorgeous and they kept up with all the housework. Steve and Vicki were such good-natured people and made us feel comfortable and at home. Honey, their beautiful dog, was very accommodating too. Loved it here!

The rooms are immaculate, with meticulous attention to detail, and you'll never want to leave. Steve & Vicky were wonderful hosts for a true dinkum Kiwi experience. The spot is terrific, right across the water, peaceful as ever and only a short stroll to the city centre. I wanted to take Honey home, but she's a ‘One Man Woman’ pooch and loves riding the Ferry with Steve. A must return for a longer B & B stay.

The beach views and beautiful sunrises were a treat, and beach towels were easy to get. It's a very central base for touring. Friendly hosts, and the hospitality was first class, with every little detail done to perfection. I'd highly recommend staying with Vicky and Steve.
