The weather event kept us from reaching the resort for our first night, and they offered a refund for it, which we really appreciated. The area is stunning, with plenty of activities close by. We loved our four-night stay. Management were very friendly and did their utmost to make our family reunion a success. Our chalets and cabins were well appointed and very clean. The family made good use of the pool and spa, and it was great to have tennis balls and other gear available for hire.

We spent a couple of days at cooks beach resort while on holiday, after family and friends recommended it. It's in a prime spot, near a few shops and places to eat, down the road from the beach, and a five-minute drive to the ferry. Whitianga is just a five-minute ferry ride away, and getting across and back was cheap and easy. It's a very large place with pools and spas, plus communal showers and toilets. Our place also had its own private bathroom. I'd definitely recommend booking here.

We had a great weekend, staying in three cabins for two nights. The resort was impressively clean and well maintained, and the kitchen and BBQ areas worked well for our group. The beach, general store, and Shakespeare Lookout are all a short walk away. Big thanks to Callum and Fenella for being so welcoming and helpful. If you want a clean, family-friendly place at Cooks Beach, this is it!

We stayed on a powered site for camper vans. Everything was very clean, and the toilet and cooking facilities were excellent. There's also a pool and spa. Shops are about a five-minute walk away, and the beach is around fifteen minutes on foot. We came at the end of February, outside prime season, and had no trouble booking the night before. Highly recommended.

We stayed over New Year's and had such a fun time that we're bringing the whole family back next year. The campground is ideally located near the beach and Whitianga Ferry. After dinner, the adults-only spa was a perfect way to unwind. Highly recommend!
