We had a great time here. The lounge had an amazing view, and the amenities in the room covered what we needed. The two teenagers were happy to have their own space and TV. Staff were flexible about a late check-in after our flight delay, and let us borrow beach towels and shovels for Hot Water Beach at no charge. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The beach and town are close, which is great, but our room at Oceanside Motel in Whitianga was much too small for comfort. There was barely room in the bedroom, and the shower space was extremely cramped with a tiny shower head that made it uncomfortable to use. Maybe it would do for a quick overnight stop if you only need somewhere to sleep, but it didn't meet my comfort expectations overall.

We had everything we needed in a clean, comfortable, well equipped room, and the hosts made the stay easy and enjoyable. The location was perfect, and everything was handled professionally. The kids especially loved having Sky Sport, Netflix, and YouTube, which kept everyone happy. It was an amazing stay. We'd recommend the place and will be back.

Loved every minute. The views, cleanliness, friendly service, and location were all perfect. It's a short walk to the Irish bar, and the food at the Blue Lagoon was excellent.
