The apartment layout and basic kitchen facilities can suit small families, contractors, or business travelers who need extra space or are staying longer. It’s also handy for central Sohar, nearby shops, restaurants, and essential services, without long drives. I enjoyed my stay, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The only issue I noticed was in the bathroom, where there was nowhere proper to hang towels. A towel rack or some hooks would make things more convenient.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment for a family stay, at around 25 Omr per day. It was spacious, neat, and tidy, with two bedrooms, a hall, a kitchen, and three bathrooms. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the apartment had WiFi, a heater, kettle, TV, AC, fridge, and roomy wardrobes. A veg restaurant is next door.

We paid 25 riyal omani in advance for a family room because friends were visiting from UK. We clearly told the staff member, who I think was from Mumbai, that we needed a late checkin and late check out. He gave us a receipt showing 7Pm on 23 January and 9 Pm on January 24, but then asked for another 8 RO at checkin and 10 RO at checkout. I guess there’s no fixed rate, and he insisted we pay, so the total came to 43 RO. The staff member behaved very badly. There were no towels or toilet tissue in the room. After we asked, he brought only 2 towels for 4 people. We felt bad for our guests. Please be careful if you plan to check in.
