Hotel Don Jesus

The owner made us feel welcome, and the staff at the upstairs restaurant were welcoming too. It’s one block from the main street, handy for everything but quieter at night. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the restaurant on the second floor has a great-value breakfast and lunch menu. I’ll definitely come back.

Yaisa was a great resource whenever we needed something, and the local Fondas are good. Our favorite was the cafeteria-style one beside Banco General, with several choices. For pizza, message Kasa21, they make the best, hands down. The pool is tucked away from the street, and most things you might need are within a couple of small blocks. This charming hotel is run by the friendliest couple on the Azuero Peninsula. Yaisa handles every reservation herself and made us feel like we were the only guests she cared about. Other guests we spoke with said they felt the same. The rates are amazing.

The owners of this small family-run hotel are friendly and accommodating. We found everything we needed within three blocks, and the prices were very reasonable. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great.

They treated us like family. I use an electric wheelchair, and they gave us a room with enough space to get me in and out in my chair. The rooms were clean and cool.
