The street noise late at night made the rooms terrible. At the restaurant, we were the only customers and ordered very basic food, yet waited more than an hour. Three of us had finished before the other two got their meals. The staff ignored our questions and just chatted and played together. Breakfast was the same kind of wait, with no choice and coffee not included. My friends stayed two more days, and on their last morning there was no breakfast, only coffee. The staff didn’t seem to care then either. Terrible experience. Never again.

The rooftop and massive pool were great, and the staff and owner were lovely and friendly. It’s close to the mariscos supermercado, on a bustling street. I really enjoyed my stay and thought it was great for the price. Thanks for having us.

A beautiful, spotless hotel with lovely staff. The fish in the restaurant was delicious. An Uber to casco viejo was only $2.50, so there’s no need to complain about its location in a “real” area. It exceeded my expectations.

This hotel reopened a month or two ago after a complete overhaul. It has fresh paint, new decorations, and a huge rooftop patio with a pool and bar. They’re still building some things, with completion expected in May. The Greek owner has a clear vision and has invested in it. The staff are amazingly friendly, and the owner has plenty of stories to tell. The hotel delivers well beyond its price range. Don’t be put off by the area. It’s not as bad as people say, just a bit more authentic.
