We got caught without a place to stay during Mardi Gra, and this was the last room available in Panama City. The staff tried hard, but the property is very tired and the area is noisy. You can find better options for the same price.

The bed was soft, the room was good, and I liked looking out at the trees along Avenida Cuba. But there wasn't an outlet in the room to plug anything into. We were told no Wi-Fi password was needed, which turned out to be because there was no Wi-Fi at all. Booking had listed the total as $23, but we were charged $26.40. The next day we found a cheaper hotel that actually had internet.

The one real plus is the location, with a couple of hospitals nearby and a metro station about a block away. Service wasn't good, there was no hot water, and some rooms are old and smell. Outside at night feels uncomfortable, with nightlife going on and what seemed like unsavory people around the premises.

Good location, but it's a pretty basic place. You only get Wi-Fi if you stand in one particular spot in the hallway, and you're completely locked in or out until someone buzzes you through.
