We had a great view and enjoyed the clean rooms, friendly staff, well-kept pool, and good breakfast during our two nights at Vista Coiba. The place felt a little deserted despite being fully booked, and it’s somewhat out of the way. Still, getting around on foot is easy.

The sunsets are amazing, and you can watch them from just a minute or less away from your bed. The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine, and the pool was nice for cooling off. The AC worked and the beds were comfortable. Not much else you could ask for. Absolutely recommend.

The pool is the main draw, with sunset views over the ocean, and the staff are cheerful and helpful. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable, with hammocks and deck chairs out front. The kitchen area is really more like a living room since there’s only a coffee maker. It’s a lovely little hotel between Santa Catalina village and the main surf beach. Santa Catalina itself is a sleepy, very quiet place, with not much to do beyond relaxing and surfing, though there are plenty of decent food options.

I love this place. The owner is really kind, the view is amazing, and I highly recommend it.

The staff are awesome, and the property has great views and a quaint pool. The room was small, though, and the bathroom had no privacy. With the barn door and no covering on the bathroom window facing a busy path, you can hear everything. Dogs also bark at different times during the night. The kitchenette had a coffee maker but no cups, microwave, hot plate, or dishes.
