Our room had a small view of the Machu Picchu terraces, and the lodge sits in a garden tucked up a hill. It was very quiet. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, and having a bath was a nice extra. The service was attentive.

The staff were super friendly, and the water pressure was amazing. It’s a great spot, close to the Plaza and within walking distance of everywhere.

The location was peaceful, and I wish we’d stayed longer. The rooms were cosy and beautiful, with heating and a nice balcony. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water.

Tucked away among the trees, the place felt peaceful and removed from the bustle. I don’t see what the fuss about the stairs is, the climb wasn’t much at all. The clean rooms looked new and had a nice wooden cabin feel, and the showers were good, which we always appreciate. The restaurant and bar beside the lodge is a little gem, with really nice food, great cocktails, and beers on tap. We had a great experience.

They’re permanently closed. We had a reservation, but nobody was there and the phone was disconnected. Luckily, we were paying at the hotel, so we’ve found somewhere else now.
