I could check in as soon as I arrived early in the morning, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace had great views, and there were some good breakfast choices. They can pack breakfast to go, which was handy since nearly all the tours start at 3 in the morning. My only complaint was that there was no soap or shower gel in the room. This was the best stay of my trip to Peru, hands down.

The rooftop view really stuck with me, and the breakfast was delicious. I recommend the fruit salad with yogurt. The friendly staff paid attention to lots of small details that made our stay comfortable.

We stayed four nights and enjoyed the breakfast and the staff's help with our limited Spanish. When we left, one of the lovely staff members walked us to the Uber pickup spot and waited with us until the car arrived. Thanks, Los Tambos.

The location was perfect, close to everything, and the rooms felt cozy with everything we needed. Housekeeping did a great job, and the breakfast was excellent, with staff who were so accommodating. Customer service was top notch across the board. I really can't say enough good things about this boutique hotel. I'd happily stay again and again.

Service was what really made this hotel stand out. We arrived at 6AM with check-in not until 2pm, and without us asking, they rearranged reservations so we could get into a room at 9AM. That was so kind. The front desk also helped us put together the paperwork for our Bolivia visas, even though they didn't have to. The location and amenities were great too. I'd highly recommend Los Tambos.
