One of the best hotels in downtown Cajamarca.

The buffet has a variety of options and costs S/. 50. Breakfast was good and the service excellent. Prices are a little higher than in Lima, but that's understandable for a hotel.

After a long day at work, I just wanted to rest, but getting usable hot water turned into an hour-long ordeal. I asked for it again and again, yet it stayed lukewarm or cold. The heater seemed to be set so the water was only barely warm for a few minutes. They even laughed at me, and this went on for days. I hope I never have to return, and I’ll be telling my organization about it.

UPDATE 08/22/25: The staff were very good, and breakfast came as a buffet. The hotel is close to Cajamarca’s main square. My one drawback was the lack of laundry service.

Friendly service and a central spot. The rooms are nice.
