B&B Cusing Wasi

The room was very clean, and breakfast was filling and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pickup from the airport was quick, and the hotel is only a few minutes away. I’d recommend taking their shuttle, since I think a taxi might have trouble finding the place. It was worth it, and I’d stay again!

The neighborhood felt a little noisy and rough around the edges, which is understandable so close to the airport. As a taller than average American man, I wouldn’t have felt comfortable walking there after dark. Still, Cusing Wasi is a handy place before an early flight. The owners’ private car gets you to or from the airport in about five minutes, and my room was clean and comfortable enough.

Luis arranged a private driver to the bus station for less than I expected to pay for a taxi, and the free WiFi was super fast. The owners were so friendly. They waited until 11:30 pm for me after airport security took a long time, and I felt bad about keeping them waiting. The room was small, and people were up early since it’s an airport hotel, but the bed was so comfortable that I slept really well. The ensuite was spotless and had a lovely shower. Definitely recommend it if you’re waiting for a connecting flight.

We got a good night’s sleep, even though the area looked a bit dodgy for walking around at night. We found the place easily by taxi, but weren’t sure we’d arrived because there are no signs outside, just a house with the hostel upstairs. It was quiet at night. We needed somewhere near the airport for an early flight, and it’s about five minutes away by car. The room and shared bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the shower was warm. Internet was fast. The host asked USD 20 for a ride, which seemed very expensive, so I negotiated it down to 20 soles (USD 6). They kindly offered us breakfast at 5:30 am. It was basic, just an egg, coffee, tea, a cracker, butter, and jam. I’d recommend it if you need to stay near Lima’s airport.
