The rooms were very clean, and it’s close to the airport. I’d definitely recommend it.

We only needed somewhere to sleep after arriving really late and leaving early the next morning, so this apartment worked for us. The bed was comfortable, there was Wi-Fi, and the bathroom had towels and toiletries. The kitchen was there, though it didn’t look like anyone used it. It’s about five minutes from the airport, but this is an apartment, not a hotel. For a hotel, there’s a Holiday Inn, but the prices are crazy. The area felt pretty dodgy, with graffiti around and metal bars on windows that I assume are there to deter robbers. The owner has a lot of places in this style. Ours was on the ground floor with two rooms, so I assume you might share. Booking was easy and communication was quick. The lovely Auntie Mary drove us to and from the airport, hugged us like she’d known us for years, and was so kind. You really need to arrange her service because otherwise the accommodation would be almost impossible to find or get into. The return ride cost $19. We were fine with the stay for our one night, but I wouldn’t choose it for longer. Bring drinking water, since you can’t drink from the tap and none was provided.

They cancelled our booking when we arrived at Lima airport, even though we were only staying another 12 hours. I was there with my wife, our five-year-old, and our one-year-old, close to midnight. Both kids were asleep and exhausted, and we were carrying them along with our luggage. They said they wouldn’t honor the reservation unless we paid for an extra room for the children. It felt like they were trying to squeeze more money out of us, or leave us with nowhere to stay. You can’t count on a confirmed booking here while traveling. There are plenty of other places. We’ll never stay here again.

Awful. I booked on Booking just after arriving, but payment was due right away. They had no card machine, and wouldn’t even let us leave our bags inside while we went to get cash.
