The buffet was a pleasant surprise, with a great selection and lots of vegetable dishes. The trout was very good, and it was only 40 soles. We came as part of a tour, but I'd go back on my own too.

I was brought here for lunch on a tour. The menu and buffet were both very expensive, and most individual dishes cost more than the buffet or the same amount. I'm vegetarian, and when I asked if there was a lower price for just the vegetarian dishes, they said no because half the food was vegetarian. I pointed out that non-vegetarians could eat everything while I could only eat half, but they didn't care. What made me even angrier was that there wasn't a single high-protein vegetarian option. So much for a “balanced” vegetarian meal. The vegetables themselves were okay, though.

On our way back from a Colca Canyon tour we stopped here. I ate here because the tour chose the place and didn't give us much choice. Their a la cart menu might be better, but it's priced close enough to the buffet that it nudges you toward that option. There were tons of choices on the buffet, yet the food was easily the worst we had in the country. I appreciated the steamed broccoli and beets, and that's about all I ate.
