Breakfast was generous, and the room was spacious and clean, if a bit old. It was quiet and good for resting, just a few minutes from the main square. The owner made a mistake charging us, but noticed right away and returned the difference. Good value overall, especially if you’re in Chivay just to sleep during a two-day Colca Canyon tour.

The owner was so welcoming and nice. We had a great experience at the Hostal, and I’d recommend it as a comfortable spot to rest before the colca’s canyon trek.

The rooms were warm, and so was the staff. Its location is ideal, just steps from the square, and the hotel was impeccably clean.

There were plenty of blankets to stay warm, and the bed was comfortable. This hostel is close to the main square. The bathroom faucet was a little tricky, and breakfast was basic: bread, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, and coffee or tea.

It’s a simple hotel with a garage about a block away and the well-known continental breakfast. The city’s main square is only a few blocks away, with a bit of everything to find there.
