The room was very dirty. We asked for fresh sheets and got another dirty set. They made the bed while we were out using the same dirty sheets, and neither cleaned the room properly nor changed the towels. I regret not checking the reviews first. The location is good, the Wi-Fi works well, and most of the time there is hot water. The staff are nice, but not professional. They locked the door in the early evening and weren't always there to open it right away. Breakfast was very poor, and we even had to ask for coffee.

It's cheap, but no gem. We left early for another hotel, and I wouldn't recommend spending your time or money here. The place is very loud because of its layout and echo. Hot water and Wi-Fi were both unreliable. The front desk was often unattended, so getting our key could mean waiting. I eventually started going behind the desk to get it myself. Breakfast items often ran out, and they weren't attentive about refilling things like the coffee pot.

We had paid for three days, but before we arrived the man running the place sold our rooms to someone else. He put us in the hotel next door and caused problems over paying for our final day. They had said it would be covered because he couldn't accommodate us, even though we'd already paid for all three days.

I love the very different style of this beautiful, relaxing place in Peru. It wasn't an ordinary stay, but it was just as comfortable, with lots of places to visit day and night. I'd love to come back someday.
