Alberto and Marianela did a lot to make sure their guests had a memorable stay. I spent three weeks at Casa del Alba in Cusco, returning for my second visit, and again it exceeded what I expected. The husband and wife who own it create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and I also enjoyed meeting their daughter this time. It’s a short walk to the city center, and I felt safe walking around both day and night. My cozy room had the necessities, including a private washroom, and I could use the full kitchen. There’s a courtyard to relax in after a day out, plus restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I could do laundry with the washing machine or go to a laundromat close by.

My friend and I were stranded in Cusco when the country went into lockdown during the Covid Pandemic in March 2020. We spent two and a half weeks there and enjoyed every day. It’s a great place, and the hosts were so courteous.

Just a few minutes from the main square, Casa del Alba offers a very affordable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hosts put a lot of care into making guests feel at home and as comfortable as possible. I’d definitely recommend this guesthouse.

My room had plenty of light and a view over the whole city, and I loved staying in it. The place is spacious, very clean, and surrounded by nature. Service was excellent, and the friendly hosts were always helpful. The down blankets on the beds kept the cold Cusco nights from bothering me. I had a great stay and would highly recommend Casa del Alba. I’ll stay there again when I return!
