For just $20.00 a night for two, this was a very pleasant stay, and we'd happily return to Kay Pacha. The old building is well kept, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the main Plaza de Armas of Cusco. Our room was clean, very nice, and the beds were warm and comfortable. The hot shower was a welcome way to warm up after trekking in Cusco's cold air. Breakfast cost $3.00 and was wonderful for the price: eggs, fresh local cheese, hot bread and jelly, plus hot milk with the cafe' for anyone who prefers milk, and tea with hot water. You'd pay much more for that at local restaurants. The staff and service were wonderful, and we can't say enough good things about their friendliness and fairness. We'd highly recommend this Hostal.

My husband and I took a three day tour with Kay Pacha, and it was an unforgettable experience. The guides knew the archaeological sites extremely well and gave us wonderful, distinctive service.

It was cheap and matched what the place offered, but there were a few things to know. Hot water is limited after 22:00H, breakfast isn't included, and they accept neither debit nor credit cards. The owner asked for the full payment before handing over the keys. Also, the entry door is so small that carrying my bags through it was difficult.
