One thing to know is that rooms have no safe, mini fridge, or complimentary bottled water. We didn’t mind, since there’s a mini market just below the hotel for water and snacks. Laundry is available at very affordable prices, which was convenient on a longer trip. There’s also hot water by reception for free tea, including Coca tea, which helped us a lot with altitude sickness. The breakfast was simple, with bread, butter and jam, coffee and tea, plus fresh juice. You can order eggs made fresh. We liked it, though a few more options would have been welcome. Our room was clean and quiet, with a big comfortable bed. It also had Netflix and Amazon Prime on the TV, a nice extra. The hotel sits at the top of a hill with a stunning city view, and it’s a short walk to the Saqsaywaman historical site. The centre and most restaurants are just under a ten-minute walk away. It’s a good spot if you want to be close while avoiding the noise in the centre. Angel and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Inkantari and would recommend it.

The restaurant food tasted very good, but service took ages. Breakfast was a joke. The hotel itself was cold, and the heating barely worked. They don’t provide water in the room. Bottles cost 3-5 soles depending on size, but you can only pay cash because of card fees. Often they had no change and wouldn’t sell one, leaving a ten-minute walk downhill to the nearest shop at night. Ridiculous. We asked housekeeping to come back in an hour to clean, and she never did. The hotel is high up in the old city, so going to another restaurant means a long walk down and then back up. The views are nice, but you can only see them from the restaurant and lobby, not from the rooms.

We came in a big truck, and they stored our big bags for us. The staff and facilities were excellent, and the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast could use some vegetables.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and feel luxurious, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and gave incredible service. It’s in a safe part of the old town, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the main plaza. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean, the location was good, and the restaurant was good too. The stay itself was okay, but it wasn’t worth the price. Breakfast was a letdown. We were served eggs, bread and jam, with no choice, meat or fruit. Instagram showed a rich buffet, but what we got was a light breakfast. That wasn’t okay.
