Saqray Hostel

The walk back up from the main square could be tough for anyone with mobility issues, though the views on the way down were incredible. We had a fantastic stay at this affordable hostel, with roomy bedrooms, hot showers, and friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit basic, but it's nice to have it included. Since our flight was late, the staff let us leave our bags for the day and wait in the lobby until it was time to go.

I booked for two days and ended up using this quiet hostel as my base for almost four weeks. It’s reasonably priced, well located, and has some nice common areas. The female dorm was one of the best I’ve stayed in: curtains, a light, a storage box, and large lockers by each bed. It was so quiet at night. The place was always clean, with dorms cleaned daily, and the showers had good pressure and reliably hot water. Wi-Fi was good and breakfast was nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and went out of their way for me. They also have a secure locker for luggage during multi-day hikes. I really recommend staying here.

I've never seen staff cleaning so much, everything was amazingly clean. It's a very comfortable hostel with great staff. Breakfast would be better with scrambled eggs, granola in place of the sweet rice cereal, and more marmalade.

Martina helped us figure out everything we needed to know about Cusco and the surrounding area. The service went well beyond what we expected. Our room was clean and nice, and the hostel has a great location plus an exceptional view from the rooftop bar. Our stay at Saqray hostel was perfect. Thank you!
