We stayed for seven days and had a great time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel like family, and the views were incredible. Breakfast was just okay, but the views and people made up for it. The rooms are lovely and rustic, and it's one of the cheapest places to stay in Cusco, which makes it a must.

I paid 35 sol for a bed in the shared room, though I haggled it down to 30. Not the cheapest, but still pretty good. I had the room to myself for the night since nobody else was there. There's an open garden area with sofas where you can get a little break from the busy city. The bathroom could be cleaner, though it wasn't too bad compared with a lot of places in Peru. I heard from other reviews that breakfast was included, but I didn't get any, maybe I missed it.

We were there during the protests in December/January, and I was a little nervous. The staff at wake up hostel were accommodating and helpful, and made me feel somewhat safe. The small room with its own bathroom was more than comfortable, and it was quaint. We could leave some things there while hiking the salkantay trek, and the second and third floors have nice city views. Breakfast was basic and free, cereal, bread, scrambled eggs, that kind of thing. The staff were helpful despite the language barrier, though they mainly speak Spanish, so I had to use a translation app to ask questions. One day they forgot our breakfast, and I couldn't find anyone at the front desk. It's one of the more affordable decent places in Cusco.

The staff made our stay a joy. They helped with absolutely everything, from arranging transport and tours to recommendations and checking us in for our flights. The rooms were clean, and there are safe deposits for valuables. We spent three nights at this lovely hostel in a quiet spot in central Cusco, about a five to ten minute walk from Plaza de Armas. Breakfast was simple, but up on the rooftop with a fantastic city view. There's also a lovely garden patio to relax in away from the city bustle. I'd come back anytime.

Leo, the manager, is so nice, and the place is quiet and well located. My room was super comfortable, and the water got really hot. Loved this place, perfect hostel!
